Nutritional services
Unlike nutritionists, dietitians are trained in applying nutritional knowledge in clinical disease management. This means they can be prescriptive with the dietary management of clinical health conditions and food-drug interactions. A dietitian is also the only University qualified profession that deals with nutrition. All dietitians are nutritionists, but a nutritionist is not a dietitian. So when you book an appointment with our qualified dietitian, know that you’re getting quality evidence-based support to manage health conditions, achieve physical goals, or enhance your overall well-being.Â

Nutrition FAQ
Your appointment will begin with a confidential chat about your overall health, including diet, exercise habits, medical history, medications and general lifestyle factors including sleep and stress. We’ll then talk about your health goals to establish how we can best support you to achieve these. Then it’s time to develop a roadmap to help you achieve them. This may involve a meal plan, lifestyle adjustments or supplement recommendations. At the end of the session, we’ll discuss the best next steps, book any repeat appointments, or have you walking away empowered to make changes on your own at home.
We support people to achieve all kinds of goals—this could include gaining or losing weight, establishing a regular menstrual cycle, improving fertility, increasing energy to keep up with the kids, reducing bloating and abdominal pain, managing a chronic illness or eating disorder, or training to run a marathon! Goals vary widely from patient to patient. We’re compassionate and acknowledge that everyone is different.
Yes, if you have any recent blood tests, we’d love to take a look as they may assist us with your health plan. However we can order blood work for you too.
Yes, as a women’s health clinic, we love to support pregnant or breastfeeding women. Your body’s dietary needs will change throughout the journey of becoming a mother. We empower you with the knowledge you need and a practical plan to optimise the wellbeing of both mum and bub.
We work closely with your GP and other healthcare specialists and can request specific tests and procedures related to diagnosing dietary allergies and intolerances.
We do on the spot Medicare rebates in the studio for people who have been referred by a GP under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) program. We don’t offer bulk billing.
Most private health funds will provide you with a rebate for Dietitian appointments (depending on your cover), plus we have HICAPS available at our studio which will make the process a lot easier.
