Our healing massage services
Remedial massage is a powerful form of massage that targets tight muscles, enhances circulation and relieves tension to decrease pain and improve your flexibility and mobility so you can live better.Â
Remedial massage also eases your mind by reducing stress, enhancing your sleep, and lessening symptoms of anxiety and depression. It’s an incredible tool to restore your body’s balance and wellbeing.Â
Post-operative massage is a unique massage targeting your body’s lymphatic system. This system is responsible for processing waste and fluids in your body. After surgery, these fluids can sometimes become stagnant and harden, which can cause pain and discomfort.Â
Post-op lymphatic massage uses various techniques to promote circulation and reduce inflammation, which helps prevent the hardening of fluids and the formation of scar tissue. By gently draining lymphatic fluid, we can minimise bruising and swelling and help you feel more comfortable as you recover.
Lymphatic massage is a calming massage that works to activate the lymphatic system. This particular type of massage has many benefits for your body. It improves your circulation, helps reduce swelling and inflammation, and strengthens your immune system.Â
The techniques used in lymphatic massage involve soft strokes, gentle kneading, and light tapping of the skin and tissues beneath. Lymphatic massage can also help you feel more relaxed, sleep better, detoxify your body and enhance your skin’s radiance.
Pregnancy can be tough on your body, but pregnancy massage can help. It’s safe and recommended for all stages of pregnancy and provides welcome relief from the aches and pains that come with growing a tiny human.Â
A pregnancy massage can also help you relax, sleep better, and even boost your mood if you feel a bit low. The massage techniques are gentle and designed to improve circulation, reduce swelling, and release muscle tension. You relax while we help you feel your best during this special time.

Massage Therapy FAQ
A comfy, loose-fitting outfit that you can easily change in and out of is a great option.
Post-operative massage is a powerful tool to help you recover from cosmetic surgeries (tummy tuck, BBL, liposuction, breast implant removal & breast reconstruction), orthopaedic surgeries (knee, shoulder and hip arthroscopies), laparoscopic gynaecological surgeries, hysterectomy and c-section. Please call us if you want to discuss another surgery not mentioned here.
Starting massage treatment early can significantly impact your healing process and help you return to your routine quickly. Here are our guidelines:
- Massage can start 48 hrs post-surgery for liposuction and fat transfer BBL, and one week post-surgery for tummy tuck.
- Massage can start 2 weeks post orthopaedic, laparoscopic, gynaecological and breast surgeries.Â
- Massage can start 4 weeks post c-section and 6 weeks post hysterectomy
With liposuction & cosmetic procedures for ideal results we recommend post-op massage 2-3 times a week for the first 3 weeks then weekly from week 4 until swelling and bruising is completely gone, this can be anywhere between 3-6 months.
This is a general guide and depending on your recovery you may need more or less sessions for ideal results. Our highly skilled therapist will be able to customise a treatment plan that’s right for you and your body’s needs.
Your appointment will begin with a confidential chat about your health history, including aches, injuries, surgeries, medications, or conditions. We’ll then talk about your goals for the treatment and may ask you to do some simple body movements so we can personalise your care and plan a great session. Then it’s time for the hands-on treatment. We’ll let you know how far to undress and leave the room so you can change and get comfy. At the end of the session, we’ll discuss the best next steps for you, book any repeat appointments, or give you at-home care options.Â
You might experience some symptoms after a massage appointment—the most common is feeling a little tired and lethargic. You may also experience muscle aches (like that post-workout burn) and mild headaches. We suggest lots of water and rest following an appointment. Know that these symptoms are quite normal and will ease after 2 or 3 days at most. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you are concerned about anything.
Yes. As a women’s health clinic, we are trained in treating pregnancy-related issues. Our qualified massage therapist will ask you some specific questions to understand your pregnancy and any pre-existing conditions to ensure your and your baby’s safety. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, we will be happy to liaise with your obstetrician or pre-natal care provider, as you may need clearance before a treatment.
During the first trimester you can lie in any position you feel comfortable in, much like a regular massage session. In the 2nd and 3rd trimester we have a special pregnancy pillow with a cut out for your bump so you can lie face down and really enjoy your massage. We also use bolsters and pillows, depending on what area you are having treated, to support you in other positions like side lying. We want our pregnant mama’s to be as comfortable as possible.
Massage is not claimable through medicare.
Remedial massage is often covered under ‘extras’ or ‘massage’ if you have private health insurance. Check with your policy provider before making your appointment.
