Recipe — Ferrero Rocher Protein Balls

Ingredients

1/2 Oats (blended)

1x scoop @happywayau chocolate protein powder (optional)

4 x tbs cacao OR cocoa powder

5x dates (if they’re firm, soak in water for 15 minutes / until soft)

1/2 cup of hazelnuts (blended) + 8 whole

@loving_earth Hazelnut chocolate OR any dark/milk chocolate of your choice

1/4 Almond butter

 

Method

 
  1. Melt 3 squares of @loving_earth hazelnut chocolate. Coat whole hazelnuts in chocolate and place in the fridge to set.
  2. Blend oats into flour and set aside in bowl. Repeat the process with hazelnuts. Reserve 1-2 teaspoons of hazelnut crumb for topping.
  3. Combine oats, hazelnut crumb, @happywayau protein powder, dates, cacao powder, almond butter and water into a bowl and mix until well combined.
  4. Scoop roughly 1 tbs of@mixture, place 1x chocolate-coated hazelnut into the centre of the mixture and roll into a ball. Repeat process.
  5. Drizzle leftover chocolate and top with crushed hazelnuts—place in the fridge to cool.
